MINISTRIES
SATURDAY COMMUNITY OUTREACH
In addition to our weekly services, we focus on personal evangelism throughout the city every Saturday morning. During the summer we have many outreach ministries that focus on preaching the Gospel in local parks, gathering-places, and neighborhoods.
Every Saturday Outreach starts at 10:00 AM
CHILDCARE / NURSERY
The nursery is provided for children at all services for infants through toddlers. Staffed by trained and screened volunteers, health and safety procedures are followed in our nursery to ensure all children are cared for and loved with the highest standards. Each nursery time has a lead volunteer who is responsible for the signing in and out of the children who attend.
Parents who have attended The Potter's House and used our nursery for 6 months are encouraged to volunteer and a worker's schedule is made.
NEW BELIEVERS
Foundations of Faith New Believer's class is an introductory course on the foundations of Christian living and doctrine. Every Christian should take this course. The information is fundamental, yet surprisingly few Christians have an understanding of these things at the level they should. We integrate this course into a new member orientation and feel it is imperative that all Christians should know why we believe what we believe.
FRIDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDIES
Often, small groups of people are better able to interact with and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, The Potter's House has a Friday Night Bible Study. The size of the group lends to a more casual, intimate, and informative atmosphere.
Home Bible Studies are available for adults and youth. We meet in homes or other easy to find locations weekly throughout Killeen, from October to April, for fellowship, prayer, and Bible study. It's a great way to get connected and begin to feel like a part of The Potter's House Christian Fellowship family. Join us on Friday nights at 7:30 PM.
CROSSFIRE YOUTH SERVICE
Our vision is to teach, minister, and disciple young men and women between the ages of 13 to 18 years old. We provide guidance to help them find and understand God’s plan for their lives. Our motto is to “ROC” Christ. The urban dictionary defines “ROC” as to show off or wear very attractive high-quality clothing to get noticed. Our purpose is for youth to have the desire to “ROC” Christ. The thought is to proudly show off to the world that they have Jesus Christ in their lives.
We meet every Friday at 7:30 PM at our church building. Come, join us and learn to live a clean and purposeful life. Refreshments are provided.
ONE 80
Our vision for our One 80 is nothing less than reaching a new era with a never-changing message about Jesus Christ. One 80 is designed to bring good, wholesome fun and entertainment for the whole family. In this highly energized environment, we take the opportunity to present God’s word through live music and drama.
Why One 80? It’s easy! For those who are looking for a change, it’s a place where Jesus Christ can meet with them and change their lives forever. In other words, life can take a 180-degree turn with one encounter with Jesus Christ.
We will host live bands and drama skits the first and third Saturdays of every month.
